It's always such an amazing time of the year! August begins with school starting, first & last days of school, fall so close you can smell it! The thought of Holidays is just almost here! It's my favorite time of the year! One of the best parts about being a photographer is having the chance to document the amazing journey one has endured to receive their diploma! I'm so proud & honored to have taken Miss. Erika's Senior Portraits! She is an absolute BEAUTIFUL woman who is the best model! ;))

I don't think she has seen any of these! I'm working really hard on editing but I just couldn't wait any longer! Here is 2 of my favorites so far! Trust me tomorrow you will see so many more!!!

What a miraculous year this past one has been for this sweet preemie baby! Ryan Stapleton is a miracle baby to the sweetest couple & family I know! I had the pleasure of photographing his party & it was so much fun! There is SO much love with that family! It does help that I have known them for so long! Ryan turned 1 on August 24 & we celebrated on August 25. Here are few photos that just showed how precious that baby is!! WAIT! He's not a baby anymore! :))

So Last Week was BEACH TIME in Florida! While vacation was so relaxing, I didn't have a chance to finish posting Karis' Maternity Shoot! We really had such a great shoot! I loved their connection! You could really tell how much they both care for each other so much! Kenadee is one LUCKY girl to have these two parents! Make sure to click HERE to see all the photos!

Well vacation time is OVER! It never seems long enough. Plus once you get home its nothing but laundry, work, hanging clothes, dishes & now ready for FALL weather! It never ceases to amaze me that as soon as i got on vacation at the end of summer once I'm back, i'm ready for Arkansas to just switch over to FALL. Plus all the cute new fall/winter clothes. Needless to say I'm ready. This got me thinking about how wonderful Fall is going to be for photo sessions! There are a lot of BIG things coming for Megan Thompson Photography, as we develop & add new things to our business…. I can't wait to spread the word & really capture the moments.

Little Girls grow up the fastest! They always play dress up & one day those photos are displayed at their wedding! This session was so much fun! Playing dress up in mom's wedding gown is a dream! Let me introduce my favorite little model & lil cousin Kristina! Now I'm not her mom but she wanted to play dress up in my wedding dress because it looked like a princess gown! She right by the way! Here are a few of my favorites! She blows me away with how beautiful she is!

This was one of the hardest shoots I have done! Dogs are the best friend to man but not to a photographer! These two children are young & rambunctious, plus didn't want to listen! However after quite a few snaps we got some great shots!! They really relaxed once the camera was off! Not the best time…. but this momma had to have her family photos.
